About
Forest
Forests are vital to life on earth. They purify the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, prevent erosion and act as an important buffer against climate change. Forests are home to many of the world's diverse plants and animals and provide important natural resources from wood and food to medicinal plants. Forests also support the life of local communities and help them thrive. Here at Forst Kienberg our forest is respectfully managed by our team because only a well-cared-for forest fulfills its ecological and economic functions best.
The Team
Sustainable Energy
Forst Kienberg benefits from its own biomass heating plant, with which we produce our renewable and sustainable energy ensuring our self sufficiency.
Using the resources from our own forestry we promote the sustainable management of our forests and secure comparable or better living conditions for future generations whilst reducing our carbon footprint.
